The Project\:
Mace, as part of MPA delivery partner joint venture of Mace-Parsons-Arcadis, have been selected as the Gateway Development Commissions partners of choice to support the GDC across the Gateway Program in New York, inclusive of the Hudson Tunnel Project.
The busiest rail connection between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity, reliability, and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers from Washington, D.C. to New York and New England. A milestone project supported by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the project is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.

You’ll Be Responsible For :
Establish a Compliance Oversight and Monitoring Program Plan and framework for internal oversight of federal compliance.
Collaborate with GDC departments to identify risks(s) and establish a methodology for selecting and ranking compliance risks by priority and impact to the HTP.
Evaluate the highest-ranked risks for adherence to federal rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Produce reports and recommendations for corrective action to GDC leadership. Monitoring the implementation to ensure compliance with federal requirements.
Tracking letters, audit requests, and reviews initiated by USDOT, FTA, or FRA.
Lead the drafting of responses to letters and audit requests,
Manage the request and receipt of supporting documents from relevant departments to ensure submittals in advance of deadlines.
Evaluate GDC’s response to oversight entities and identify areas for improvement. Ensure any corrective actions have been implemented.
You’ll need to have
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
7-10 years of prior experience leading an oversight program that measures compliance with FTA experience, including prior experience working as a grant recipient.
Strong experience developing and operationalizing new Programs within a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of Project Delivery and identifying risks in delivering complex projects with numerous stakeholders and oversight entities.
Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
Demonstrable experience of leading and managing Technical, Design and Contractual Compliance in a large complex organizations.
Understanding of Building Regulations and Compliance.
Effective and deep technical knowledge of
Building as systems, legislation and delivery.
Risk Management and mitigation.
Ability to travel throughout the NY/NJ Metro Area
Note: The estimated starting salary for this position is $170k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
