The US Consumables Finance team supports core Consumables category business (Health and Personal Care, Grocery, Beauty, Premium Beauty, Baby, and Pets) and a variety of fast-growing and highly impactful programs (e.g., Everyday Essentials, Subscribe and Save, Amazon Access, Climate Pledge Friendly etc). We are looking for an analytical, self-driven, and innovative leader who is able to distill complex problems into solutions that drive business insights and finance process improvement.This role is an opportunity to support key workstreams and controllership processes for both the Ambient Food and Beverage General Ledger and get really involved with shaping our business. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to perform analysis, create metrics, and develop financial analysis that drive strategic business decisions for stakeholders. While this role is within US Consumables Finance, several of our mechanisms and workstreams extend beyond US Consumables resulting in high impact, complex and visible projects.The successful candidate in this role will have passion for innovation, possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Key job responsibilities- Build reports and financial models to address difficult business questions across Ambient Food and Beverage GL- Own P&L analysis – analyze financial outputs, connect them with underlying input drivers, and translate them into insights for both categories with limited guidance- Proactively dive deep to ensure reporting accuracy and regularly audit your work, insisting on the highest standards- Identify incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, escalate discrepancies, execute fixes, and partner on resolution- Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc data analysis, and financial modeling using a broad range of tools including Excel and SQL- Contribute to core financial processes for Ambient Food and Beverage including Annual Operating Plan, long range Strategic Plan and Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews- Design scalable solutions that automate reporting of key performance metrics and analysis to achieve business goalsA day in the lifeYou’ll collaborate with business, technical and finance stakeholders both within and outside US Consumables. You will be managing periodic reporting and planning, deep diving into data and dissecting complex problems. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
