Position Summary

The company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the day-to-day financial

operations of our North American branch. Based in our Houston office, this position will work

closely with company leadership, operational teams, external service providers, and company

headquarters in China.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting and

forecasting, account analysis, cash-flow monitoring, and supporting accurate and timely financial

operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able

to communicate effectively across departments, cultures, and time zones.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

● Manage and support the day-to-day financial needs of company.

● Prepare recurring financial reports, management reports, variance analyses, and financial

summaries.

● Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

● Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and other financial

models.

● Analyze financial results and explain material variances, trends, risks, and opportunities

to management.

● Serve as a primary finance liaison between the North American branch and company

headquarters.

● Prepare financial information and supporting documentation in accordance with

headquarters’ reporting requirements and deadlines.

● Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, cash balances, and other

financial activity.

● Review invoices, payments, reimbursements, and financial transactions for accuracy,

proper authorization, and appropriate documentation.

● Support banking activities, cash management, payment processing, and account

reconciliations.

● Maintain accurate financial records, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting

documentation.

● Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax professionals, banks, insurance

providers, and other financial service partners.

● Support annual audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and other compliance-related

activities.

● Assist in developing and maintaining effective financial controls, approval processes, and

standard operating procedures.

● Partner with sales, parts, service, warehouse, human resources, and other departments to

support operational and financial decision-making.

● Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, efficiency, and

internal controls.

● Perform additional financial analysis and related duties as business needs evolve.

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a

related field.

● At least five years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis,

accounting, corporate finance, or a related area.

● Experience preparing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and variance

analyses.

● Strong knowledge of financial principles and general accounting practices.

● Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and

financial modeling.

● Experience working with accounting, ERP, or financial reporting systems.

● Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

● High level of accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, and professional judgment.

● Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring reporting deadlines.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to work effectively with colleagues and leadership across different functions,

cultures, and time zones.

● Ability to work on-site at the Houston office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to

5:00 p.m.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience supporting the financial operations of a U.S. subsidiary or North American

branch of an international company.

● Experience in the construction equipment, heavy machinery, manufacturing, distribution,

automotive, or related industry.

● Experience communicating financial results to an international headquarters or parent

company.

● Experience supporting audit, tax, regulatory, or cross-border reporting requirements.

● CPA, CMA, CFA, or relevant progress toward a professional certification.

● Mandarin Chinese language skills are helpful but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

The position is also eligible for a performance-based annual bonus of up to 15%,

subject to applicable company and individual performance criteria.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, office-based position located in Houston, Texas. Regular in-person attendance

is an essential requirement of the role. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday,

from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Because this position works closely with company headquarters in China, occasional

communication outside standard Houston business hours may be necessary to accommodate

international meetings, reporting deadlines, or time-zone differences.
