Senior Financial Analyst

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a financial services organization to identify a Senior Financial Analyst in the Dallas, TX area. This role is hybrid and will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business performance analysis across a multi-location operation.

This position is ideal for an analytical finance professional who enjoys digging into financial results, identifying trends, and partnering with business leaders to improve performance. The right candidate is comfortable working with large data sets, financial systems, and executive stakeholders to drive informed business decisions.

Required:

• 3+ years of financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience

• Strong experience analyzing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variances

• Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models and ad hoc reporting

• Hands-on experience with Hyperion, Essbase, or similar enterprise financial planning tools

• Ability to identify performance gaps, research root causes, and recommend actionable solutions

Preferred:

• Financial services, banking, mortgage, or lending industry experience

• Experience partnering directly with business units, branch leaders, or operational teams

• Strong forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning background

• Experience presenting findings and recommendations to leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
