Senior Financial Analyst - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 120k/year - Malvern, PA

• Our client, a growing global manufacturer headquartered in Malvern, PA, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support commercial finance, manufacturing operations, and business process improvement initiatives.
• The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze commercial and operational data, identify cost and process improvement opportunities, develop financial models and business cases, and manage high-priority projects from initial discovery through implementation and measured results. This role is designed for a commercial finance, operations analysis, or manufacturing analytics professional interested in working directly with business processes rather than focusing primarily on financial reporting or strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with operations, manufacturing, commercial, finance, and information technology teams to identify inefficiencies, cost drivers, process improvement opportunities, and automation opportunities
• Manage priority projects from initial discovery through implementation, including defining the problem, analyzing data and current-state processes, designing solutions, developing the business case, and measuring results
• Build financial models, cost analyses, and return-on-investment business cases for process improvement, automation, technology, and operational initiatives
• Analyze commercial, manufacturing, and operational data from SAP, Salesforce, and other business systems to identify trends and support data-driven decisions
• Perform statistical analysis to evaluate operational performance, commercial activity, process efficiency, costs, and potential business impact
• Design and implement process automation solutions using robotic process automation, workflow tools, low-code platforms, and artificial intelligence technologies in partnership with operations and information technology teams
• Lead cross-functional special projects from scoping and process analysis through implementation and measured impact
• Conduct current-state process analysis and engage directly with business teams to understand workflows, data sources, system limitations, and operational requirements before recommending solutions
• Support business process optimization, operational efficiency, cost reduction, finance transformation, and digital transformation initiatives within a manufacturing environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in commercial finance, operations analysis, or manufacturing analytics
• Experience performing financial analysis, data analysis, statistical analysis, financial modeling, cost analysis, or return-on-investment analysis
• Proficiency with SAP or a comparable enterprise resource planning system
• Experience working with commercial, manufacturing, or operational data
• Experience managing project-based work independently from discovery and analysis through solution development, implementation, and measurement
• Experience partnering with operations, manufacturing, commercial, finance, or information technology teams on cross-functional initiatives

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 115k - 120k/year range plus bonus
