Reporting to the Finance Manager, Customer Care, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial oversight and analytical support for vehicle warranty programs, electrification and other ad hoc products/services. This includes reporting, analyzing trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize spend. This role is the finance lead to support strategic decision making through deep financial analysis, KPI tracking, and assist with implementation of cost recovery initiatives and revenue improvements. 

What you will be doing:

• Partnering with US and Central teams as the primary finance contact for warranty cost initiatives, electrification programs, and other service-related projects.
• Leading the development of business cases, financial evaluations, and recommendations for warranty initiatives, campaigns, and recalls.
• Analyzing warranty costs, claims trends, and program performance to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable financial improvements.
• Managing accounting and financial reporting activities for warranty-related programs, including revenue recognition, accruals, reserves, and profitability analysis.
• Developing pricing strategies and profitability models for Service Plans, Roadside Assistance, and other customer programs.
• Extracting, analyzing, and communicating insights from large datasets while partnering with Finance, Operations, Audit, and leadership teams to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in financial analysis, accounting, forecasting, business case development, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with experience using BI and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Automotive industry experience and/or knowledge of warranty operations, vehicle service lifecycle, pricing, and profitability analysis preferred.

Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
