Join our Healthcare Finance Operations team as a Senior Financial Analyst focusing on One Medical's accounts receivable operations. You will be responsible for coordinating refund communications, serving as a subject matter expert for the One Medical AR team, and managing unclaimed property and escheatment matters in collaboration with the Tax team. This role requires expertise in AR/AP systems unique to One Medical, with a focus on process improvement and stakeholder collaboration.In this position, you'll leverage your problem-solving skills and financial acumen to improve existing refund processes, analyze uncashed checks, and implement effective financial controls within the healthcare space. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting while maintaining the highest level of controllership.Key job responsibilities- Coordinate refund communications and resolution timelines, serving as the operational point of contact for all unclaimed property and escheatment matters for the One Medical AR team.- Analyze data from AR and AP systems unique to One Medical to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities in refund processes.- Partner with the Tax team on regulatory expertise and rule interpretation for unclaimed property compliance.- Proactively dive deep into financial data to ensure reporting accuracy, identify discrepancies, and execute fixes while maintaining high standards of controllership.- Build working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to improve processes and implement solutions that resolve financial challenges in the healthcare domain.A day in the lifeYour day begins by reviewing current One Medical refunds and the status of uncashed checks requiring action. You'll collaborate with AR specialists to address questions about complex refund scenarios and coordinate with the Tax team on unclaimed property matters. Throughout the day, you'll analyze refund data to identify process improvements, meet with stakeholders to discuss and implement solutions, and document updated procedures to ensure consistent financial controls are maintained across the organization.About the teamThe Finance Operations organization works with every part of Amazon to provide procure-to-pay, revenue-to-receipt, real-estate and facilities, operations accounting and operations excellence services with the highest level of controllership at the lowest cost to the company. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
