The Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the service area team and sits on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance. Analyzes, understands and reports on key financial and business trends for the organization. Collects, researches and organizes financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses.

The caregiver must be sufficiently fluent in the English language to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. The degree of fluency required will vary depending upon the nature of the position.

For direct patient care roles: Performs and maintains currency of essential competencies as required by specific area of hire and populations served.
• Gather and analyze financial and operational results to understand and report underlying causes for business performance and variance. Pro-actively review, analyze, monitor, and report on operational, financial, and reports.
• Develop financial proformas and value propositions. Provide continued measurement of actual performance against current project budgets, original project funding, and other measures as appropriate.
• Support business leaders with annual operating budget and long range plan, including capital budget and financial forecasts.
• Work with Accounting team to conduct regular review of monthly accounting close.
• Prepare various analyses and recommendations used by business leaders management in making informed operating decisions.
• Review and verification of productivity metrics and statistics.
• Develop and provide training to leadership teams and managers regarding budget reporting, metrics and related information.
• Provides guidance, assistance and training to more junior-level analysts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent education/experience.
- 3 years Analytical and Business experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration.
- Upon hire: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Upon hire: Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
- 2 years Healthcare related experience.
