The Team

The Finance team is accountable for the Foundation’s financial and grant management reporting, financial planning and analysis, investment management, tax and regulatory compliance, legal and risk management.  The team establishes policies, procedures and controls to ensure timely and accurate reporting of the financial results. Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Reporting is a key member of the Finance team, with primary responsibilities for producing monthly financial reporting to the Audit and Finance Committee, development of the full annual budget and supporting business plans, and responsible for all compliance reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Manager, Financial Reporting & Analysis. In addition, the role works closely with the Finance team and other internal stakeholders to deliver timely and effective support for Foundation leadership team and Board committees.

Total Rewards Package

This role has been evaluated with an annual salary range of $82,000-102,000. The hiring range for this position is $82,000-90,000. The salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s years of experience, qualifications and competencies that are relevant to this position.

In addition to salary, our competitive compensation package also includes, comprehensive health and dental benefits, HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan), hybrid work environment with a minimum of two (2) days in office, two (2) float days each fiscal year and additional Sunny Days (paid Foundation office closures around select long weekends and in late December).
