Essential Job Function:
Monitor and analyze organizational financial performance, including revenues, expenditures, and operational costs Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support decision-making Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives Analyze financial results and variances, providing insights and recommendations to management Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial processes, reporting, and overall efficiency
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with applicable standards Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and revenue schedules Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans Monitor actuals against budget and forecast, identifying and explaining variances Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
Support month-end and year-end close processes Build, develop, and maintain financial models to support planning and decision-making processes Design and produce recurring and ad-hoc financial reports for management Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and improve data visibility Leverage data and automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency Partner with other departments to understand financial drivers and reporting needs Support cross-functional initiatives by providing financial guidance and analysis Evaluate existing financial processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Assist in the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools Ensure consistency and integrity of financial data across reporting platforms Contribute to audit and compliance-related activities as needed Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Senior Financial Reporting Manager Subject to reasonable accommodations, position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred. High School Diploma required. Minimum five (5) years related experience in accounting/finance environment required. Basic knowledge of accounting and finance and related analytics Working knowledge of various accounting software applications. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software, with an emphasis on Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment. Possess excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines. Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships at all levels across the organization and externally. Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information. Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities
Physical Requirements:
Occasional travel related to job duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. Must be able to talk, stand, walk, sit, drive, bend, squat, climb, twist and reach as necessary.
