Senior Financial Analyst Consultant
Limelight Software • Toronto, Ontario • Full Time
Posted on Thu, Jun 18, 2026
Love finance but want more than spreadsheets for one company? In this role, you'll bring your finance expertise into product and consulting — working across industries, digging into different business models, and delivering real solutions.
Limelight is transforming how finance teams plan, forecast, and report. Our modern FP&A platform automates clunky, spreadsheet-based processes and replaces them with dynamic, connected, and scalable financial models — so finance teams can stop wrangling formulas and start driving decisions.
About the Role:
You'll be the trusted advisor finance teams lean on. You'll lead implementations of Limelight's financial planning platform end to end, drawing on your background in finance, accounting, and technology to guide customers every step of the way. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with clients, you'll get under the hood of their business models and design budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions built to scale.
This is a cross-functional role where it pays to wear many hats — you'll need sharp communication and a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end implementation projects for new Limelight customers, from requirements gathering to go-live and support.
Design, configure, and validate financial models, templates, and reports within the Limelight platform.
Act as the main point of contact for client finance teams throughout onboarding and implementation.
Translate financial concepts into scalable technology solutions—budgets, forecasts, headcount plans, dashboards, allocations, etc.
Provide guidance and best practices on modeling approaches and reporting outputs.
Partner with internal product, and success teams to ensure client goals are met.
Train client users and ensure successful adoption.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and risks while keeping clients informed and confident.
Build long-term relationships and help expand the usage of Limelight post-implementation.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial consulting, accounting systems, financial analysis, or financial software implementation
Strong understanding of financial planning cycles—budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, reporting
Experience with tools like Excel, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Adaptive or other FP&A tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, SaaS environment
CPA, CFA, or PMP is a value add
You’ll Thrive If You:
Enjoy helping finance professionals work smarter with better tools
Gain a mix of consulting, finance, and technical skills
Like taking ownership of a project and seeing it through from design to delivery
Are energized by client interaction, problem-solving, and tracking customer value
