What You'll Do:
Our Finance team plays a key role in helping the organization stay competitive in a fast-changing retail environment by delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality financial planning, reporting, analysis, and advice. Reporting to the Manager, IT FP&A, this role partners with the Technology team, the broader Finance function, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand financial results, provide insight, and support achievement of financial and strategic targets.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to support initiatives across the IT portfolio. This role will deliver timely, forward-looking financial and business information, along with actionable, value-added insights for key decision makers. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, clear communication skills, and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
Partner with the Technology team, the broader Finance function, and cross-functional stakeholders to become a trusted business partner and support informed decision making.
Prepare accurate and timely budgets and forecasts, monitor results against targets, and provide detailed analysis of variance drivers.
Develop a strong understanding of major financial performance drivers and support action plans to achieve financial goals and mitigate risks.
Focus on delivering meaningful, actionable insights that support both financial and non-financial stakeholder groups.
Build, enhance, and maintain financial models, reporting tools, and analysis to improve visibility, accuracy, and decision support across the IT portfolio.
Proactively streamline reporting processes, increase automation, and partner cross-functionally to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and reporting.
What You Bring:
University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting or financial designation, such as CPA or CFA, or a post-graduate degree such as an MBA, is considered an asset.
3 to 5 years of progressive experience in finance roles, including reporting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
Strong Excel skills; PowerQuery, Power BI, Co-pilot experience is considered a strong asset.
Comfortable working with large data sets and translating complex information into clear, practical insights.
Results-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining strong attention to detail and focus on the big picture.
Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess business problems holistically and develop well-supported recommendations.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
Innovative mindset with a continuous improvement orientation and an interest in driving transformation and process improvements.
Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid: In-office 4 days a week)

Broadband Salary Range: $64,000 – $106,000.
Our typical hiring range is between $64,000 and $90,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
