We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support NVIDIA's Operations and Manufacturing business divisions within NVIDIA’s Graphics and Computing and Networking segments. As part of NVIDIA's Finance organization, the overarching responsibilities will be to build and deepen collaboration between Operations and Finance teams to strategically analyze product costs and inventory to provide insights and actionable information for business decisions. This is a role for an energetic and dedicated individual who thrives in a multifaceted and fast-paced environment and who has excellent critical thinking skills.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Complete aspects of the company's manufacturing costs including product costing, variance analysis and inventory valuations.

  • Perform monthly and quarterly financial close including related audit and reporting processes.

  • Forecast and analyze OSAT manufacturing spending; obsolete or excess inventory.

  • Partner across Operations, Engineering and/or Business Units to analyze financial performance from the perspective of product costs, inventory and supply management.

  • Continuously identify and drive operational improvements and automation for better efficiency in reporting and analyzing financial information.

  • Drive operational optimization projects to streamline cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and external audit requirements regarding inventory and cost of goods sold.

What we need to see:

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience), MBA or advanced degree in related fields, a plus.

  • 5+ years experience in Accounting and Finance within a global hardware technology company, with focus in manufacturing operations and/or business divisions. Experience with hardware industry warranty accounting, a plus.

  • Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain and operational flows.

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel. experience with SAP, Power BI, Tableau or other finance applications/visualization tools.

  • Detail oriented with the highest regard for accuracy and completeness.

  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and in teams to identify and tackle problems enthusiastically and clearly identify key issues of importance for team resolution.

  • Strong analytical skills in big data and processes.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Strong product cost and manufacturing knowledge within semiconductor industry.

  • Advanced data analytics skills and experience with applications including SQL, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, and/or Power BI.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven track record of establishing relationships with cross functional business partners.

  • Self-motivated and passionate in driving continuous improvement of systems and processes.

The base salary range is 100,000 USD - 195,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
