Overview

The Windows and Devices (W+D) business consists of the Windows Device Licensing and the Surface first party businesses, which account for roughly $20B of revenue each year. Windows is of critical strategic importance to Microsoft, as it is the bedrock upon which all of Microsoft’s Consumer (Search, Office and Gaming) and Commercial (Data & AI, Infrastructure, Modern Work, Biz apps) businesses reside. The fast-paced and dynamic PC (personal computer) market environment presents many exciting challenges for the team to tackle and deliver creative solutions. And with the advent of AI (artificial intelligence) PCs and Neural Processing Unit (NPU), the world of personal computing will never be the same.
