About the role:

In this role, you will be at the intersection of Finance, technology, and transformation, playing a key role in the continuous evolution of our global Finance landscape. You will work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance at the heart of your responsibilities, driving the optimization of our systems and processes while exploring new opportunities through automation, Power Platform, and AI.

Working closely with Finance, IT, key users, and external implementation partners, you will turn business requirements and ideas into practical, scalable solutions. From shaping requirements and developing concepts to testing, implementation, and go-live, you will have the opportunity to actively drive projects forward and see your ideas become reality.

This is a hands-on opportunity to combine your Finance expertise with a passion for technology and transformation. You will help shape how our global Finance organization works today and evolves for tomorrow making Finance more efficient, digital, and future-ready.

Job Description

D365 Finance & ERP Transformation        

• Act as functional expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance       
• Translate Finance requirements into functional system solutions   
• Drive the continuous development and optimization of D365 Finance        
• Conduct Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap analyses
• Manage Finance requirements and backlog items  
• Support ERP implementations, rollouts, and system enhancements     
• Coordinate Finance, IT, Key Users, and external implementation partners      
• Support testing, UAT, data migration, go-live, and stabilization
• Support D365 release and change management

Automation & Digital Finance  

• Identify automation and digitalization opportunities across Finance
• Develop and implement solutions together with Finance and IT
• Promote the use of Power Automate, Copilot, and other Microsoft technologies      
• Identify and evaluate relevant AI use cases for Finance
• Support AI pilots and Proofs of Concept
• Contribute to the continuous development of the Finance systems and data landscape

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who combines a strong Finance and D365 background with a hands-on mentality and passion for digitalization and new technologies.You enjoy moving from idea to implementation and are comfortable getting into the details when needed. You take ownership, solve problems pragmatically, and actively drive topics forward rather than only coordinating them.You understand Finance requirements, know how to translate them into scalable D365 solutions, and are curious about how automation and AI can make Finance more efficient and effective:

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification
• 5–10 years of experience in Finance systems, Finance transformation, or Finance process improvement, including several years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance / Finance & Operations
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Treasury
• Experience with ERP implementations, rollouts, or transformation projects, including requirements management, testing, and UAT
• Ability to translate Finance requirements into functional system solutions and drive their implementation
• Strong hands-on mentality, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, and a high degree of ownership
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across Finance, IT, key users, and external partners in an international environment; fluent English & ideally fluent German
• Nice to have: Experience with project management methodologies, Power Platform / Power Automate, Copilot, AI or Finance automation, Finance data/integrations and Power BI, as well as experience in an international Finance environment
