$131,469 - $164,336

Position Objective:

Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Chief, Strategic Planning, this position manages the implementation and coordination of updates to written policies and procedures for the Procurement department.  Manage multi-Agency oversight, ensuring policies and procedures capture and reflect a complete and accurate view of the legal and regulatory requirements, as well as MTA standards and all agency procurement guidelines.  Oversees the Procurement Department’s activities are in accordance with all laws, rules, and regulations. Provides advice and guidance to all personnel regarding procurement policies and procedures and their impact on the Procurement function. Strategizes and manages special projects, including the management of MTA Procurement tracking systems.  Manages the collection and analysis of pertinent data and develops narrative and statistical reports. This position is responsible for the point of contact for outside agencies regarding Procurement activities.
