Senior Director Payroll – US Shared Services
Take on a high-impact leadership role supporting payroll operations across our U.S. Shared Services environment. As Senior Director of Payroll, you’ll play a critical role in delivering seamless payroll services, reporting, and analytics across multiple GardaWorld business entities nationwide.

Your Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Payroll Organization.
- Responsible for Processing Multi-state Payroll across multiple business entities, totaling 55,000+ employees and growing
- Drives payroll process and procedures change to continually maximize productivity and drive success.
- Ensuring payroll timeliness, accuracy, and service to employees.
- Keep current on payroll and tax changes impacting the organization and advise upper management.
- Partners with HRIS team to develop and validate employee data.
- Become a key stakeholder with future HRIS system implementations
- Ensure all local, state, and federal payroll compliance requirements are met without issue
- Implement safeguards to ensure employee data privacy and protection.
- Assist with managing our relationship with Ceridian, our payroll and HR software provider.
- Uses knowledge of human resource policies and procedures to incorporate best practices into the company's HR processes, methodologies, and output.
- Drives timely use of data analysis to maintain and improve HR operations, processes and reporting.
- Maintains accurate system setup and table maintenance, including configuration and customization changes.
- Partner with HR and business operations to understand and define business problems and issues, analyzing data and presenting insights that drive decisions on HR system usage.
- Understand end-to-end process and underlying data sources to identify data inconsistencies and make recommendations to improve data integrity.
- Continually identify opportunities to innovate and create better system solutions, focusing on driving efficiencies within the HR organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting finance or HR required
- Minimum Ten (10) years of payroll management experience
- Five (5) years of Ceridian or ADP experience preferred
- JD experience with SuccessFactors/ECP is a plus
- Experience with HRIS System Implementations preferred
- Excel Proficient (VLOOKUPs, IF statements, conditional formatting etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage third party vendor relationships to maintain systems and recommend system enhancements.
- Experience working with unions and collective bargaining agreements.
- Solid interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills with focus on customer service.
- CPP would be a plus

- Expertise in payroll systems, HRIS, and data governance
- Strategic and hands-on process improvement and operational execution
