As a family-focused company, we care about the well-being of our employees and their families. Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vetsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Direct the timely preparation of all financial statements for organization and related entities as well as governmental agency reportsoversight of the control environment, ensuring Sox Compliance Aligning to shareholder reporting requirements, month end/quarter end/year end and adhocSupervise all accounting functions ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements, including DCAA, DCMA, FAR and CASWork closely with President and CEO to manage banking relationships and treasury functions, including cash flow projections, to ensure adequate funds to meet the corporation’s needs.Evaluate and manage financial risks and develops plans and programs to minimize and contain risk exposuresPrepare and monitor annual budgets in keeping with business and financial strategy of organization; identify variances and develop appropriate action plans with Executive TeamPrepare operational and financial reports, KPI metrics and analysisProvide recommendations that will drive operating decisions to improve marginsSupervise payroll for over 600 employees operating in multiple states with multiple union contracts; must be familiar with SCA and DBA wage requirementsUpdate and implement the Company’s accounting and financial policies and proceduresMaintain and implement appropriate internal controls and auditsOversee the 401K and CPA annual auditsManage cash flow, forecasting and reportingWork with Joint Venture and other partnersWork with other administrative managers in negotiation of benefits, liability and property insurance, and union agreementsOversite of the control environment, ensuring Sox ComplianceAligning to shareholder reporting requirements, month end/quarter end/year end and adhocAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance requiredCPA license requiredMaster’s degree in business administration preferredMinimum 10 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years of managerial accounting experience in a senior positionMinimum of 3 years of Federal Government contracting experienceStrong knowledge of and experience with accounting and forecasting systemsJoint Venture experience is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe right candidate would be described as:Willing and able to exhibit leadership in support the company’s core valuesWork with integrity and do the right thing in support of customers and employees.Willing and able to roll up his/her sleeves and work cross-functionallyThrives in a fast-paced company with constantly changing priorities.Willing and able to interface with non-financial people at all levels.
