Position: Senior Director of Accounting [Req #W3055]
Location: 131 Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 (Los Angeles County). Telework permitted within commuting distance.
Duties: Lead and manage the day-to-day and month-end close activities of WME’s Accounting Department. Review month-end journal entries for WME and ensure completeness and accuracy of all journal entries for month-end close. Prepare, review and present monthly review reporting package to SVP, Controller and CFO. Research accounting issues under U.S. GAAP and provide technical expertise to the accounting team and management. Prepare technical accounting memos and analysis for significant accounting matters as needed. Manage the migration of various M&A transactions and divestitures, including, integration of new subsidiaries into our accounting system and reporting process. Coordinate and manage external audits, internal audits, and tax requests. Collaborate with the Corporate accounting and other cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Operations, on questions/requests. Maintain integrity of, and compliance with, internal controls (SOX). Ad hoc financial analysis and management reports to SVP, Controller, CFO, and executive management. Will manage 1 Director, 1 Senior Accounting Manager, 2 Accounting Managers, and 3 Senior Accountants. ***Telework permitted within commuting distance.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalence in Accounting or a related field and five (5) years of progressive experience in the field of accounting and/or financial reporting.
Salary: $118,435 - $220,000/year

Hiring Rate Minimum:
$165,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)Hiring Rate Maximum:
$220,000 annually
