Senior Director, Accounting

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience required, Master’s degree preferred.

• A minimum of 12 to 15 years of relevant related work experience, plus 7 years in professional management role.

• Ideally U.S. East Coast-based to support real-time collaboration with leadership and business operations 

• Extensive experience in technical accounting and external reporting within a complex, global organization 

• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including business combinations, equity‑based compensation, leasing, foreign currency, and other complex transactions 

• Proven leadership experience coaching, developing, and guiding accounting teams and cross‑functional partners 

• Strong experience managing audits, valuations, and relationships with external auditors, advisors, lenders, and ownership stakeholders 

• Hands‑on experience with financial consolidation, management reporting, and credit facility compliance 

• Demonstrated ability to design and improve internal controls and support SOX readiness initiatives 

• Experience overseeing treasury and tax‑related processes, including cash forecasting and tax provision activities 

• A track record of driving scalable processes, optimizing ERP systems, and supporting strategic initiatives 

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex accounting guidance for both financial and non‑financial audiences
