Overview
We are currently seeking Credit Analyst in our Healthcare banking group. The Credit Analyst will work with the team’s Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to perform due diligence, underwrite new credit facilities and to monitor and maintain the loan portfolio. Primary responsibilities include analyzing financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, recommending appropriate credit structures, and identifying cross selling/referral opportunities for other bank products and services.
Responsibilities
- Work with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers to prepare credit memorandums for senior management, with comprehensive
analysis, for prospective and existing clients - Assist with portfolio management, including reporting monitoring and updating internal reports
and compliance programs - Support senior officers in all aspects of underwriting and closing deals and managing existing relationships.
- Respond to client requests from client private equity firms
- Complete special projects as needed for other team members and senior management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or concentration in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Recent graduate with 4+ years of banking experience, ideally with credit training or experience in financial modeling and analysis
- Banking or healcare experience is a plus
- Strong writing and communication skills are critical
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work within set timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
