This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing core accounting and finance operations in a standard-cost environment, with direct partnership alongside executive leadership to drive financial clarity, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.If you thrive in manufacturing, love digging into cost structures and variances, and want a seat at the leadership table — this could be a strong fit.What You’ll Own:Lead all cost accounting functions including standard costing, cost rolls, overhead rate development, and detailed variance analysisOversee month-end close and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAPDrive annual budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering closely with leadershipEnsure inventory integrity within the ERP system, including oversight of physical inventories and valuationsStrengthen and optimize internal controls, accounting workflows, and system efficienciesPartner with executive leadership to analyze performance, identify trends, and support strategic initiativesCoordinate external audits and maintain compliance with regulatory requirementsOversee payroll accuracy and collaborate with HR on benefits and deductionsEvaluate customer credit risk and establish appropriate credit limitsDevelop and refine KPIs to enhance financial visibility across the organizationReview financial terms within contracts to ensure sound fiscal oversightChampion continuous improvement across accounting, ERP, AP, payroll, and inventory processesWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of accounting experience within a standard-cost manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliancePrior leadership experience managing accounting, payroll, and compliance functionsAdvanced analytical skills with exceptional attention to detailHigh proficiency in Excel and Microsoft OfficeAbility to prioritize effectively and lead in a fast-paced environmentThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Senior Cost Accountant who enjoys balancing strategic partnership with operational execution and wants to make a measurable impact within a growing manufacturing organization.
