HornBill has a client seeking a Senior Cost Accountant in Fitchburg, Massachusetts (MA). Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of systems
- Create and review controls for data accumulation and reporting systems
- Report on margins
- Analyze capital budgeting requests and fixed asset management
- Coordinate physical inventories and cycle counts
- Prepare actual to forecast/budget variance analysis
- Participate in forecasting and budgeting processes
- Develop metrics and tracking system for cost drivers
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in cost accounting or similar field preferred
- Strong reporting skills
- Knowledge of Veridian/SAP Business One or other ERP/MRP system
- Strong communication skills
