Summary/Objectives: The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for supporting several areas, including but not limited to, Accounting, Sales and Information Technology depending on the tasks or projects assigned. Work assignments may include duties for Pelco, and/or any of its current or future subsidiaries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Maintain pricing structure and pricing new items across all entities
- Maintain costing analysis across all entities
- Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality at assigned work location
- Provide monthly reporting on Obsolete and Excess inventory
- Support Inventory Control team in tracing inventory issues to work orders and adjustments or any other Inventory-related duties
- Support Accounts Payable team in researching issues related to 3-way matching and inventory discrepancies or any other AP duties
- Support Accounts Receivable team in contacting customers to collect balances owed or any other AR duties
- Provide assistance to accounting staff at Pelco and/or any acquisitions
- Data analysis and audit preparation
- Item Master maintenance in NetSuite
- Special projects as needed.
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing miscellaneous tasks as needed.
- Be available as required by customer demand to work additional time (overtime) throughout the year.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- CPA License or Candidate
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience preferably in manufacturing/production environment; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Ability to organize work assignments and multi-task.
- Above average computer skills (Microsoft Office and NetSuite) are necessary. Proficient in Excel Spreadsheets.
- Must be a good communicator (written and verbal) and able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in manufacturing/production

The employee is required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally. Personal Protective Equipment is required in production areas and may include, but is not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, and closed-toe shoes. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:General office environment that is climate controlled. Will be required to visit production area frequently and may be exposed to airborne contaminants, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Production area is not climate-controlled. The noise level may exceed permissible exposure limit and hearing protection may be required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:Full-Time. Work Schedule: 9/80 Schedule (Monday through Friday with every other Friday off) OR Monday – Friday 8-hour work days. Work schedule hours to be determined. May require overtime based on business needs.
Travel:No travel is expected for this position.
