About the Senior Accountant Role

The Senior Accountant will support core accounting activities with a strong focus on inventory-related transactions, reconciliations, close support, and process improvement. This role will work closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure inventory activity is accurate, timely, and well-documented.

The Senior Accountant will also support month-end and year-end close activities, operational accounting processes, and special accounting projects. Over the next year, this person will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful inventory process improvements, helping simplify and strengthen how inventory is tracked, costed, and reconciled.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, highly collaborative, and excited to be part of a team-oriented culture.

Role Responsibilities

• Support inventory accounting activities, including transactions, reconciliations, and close-related work

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to inventory and operational accounting

• Review and maintain accurate inventory activity across the business

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation

• Partner with accounting team members and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve questions and improve workflows

• Assist with process improvement projects focused on inventory costing, transaction flow, and operational efficiency

• Support audit requests, internal controls, and financial reporting needs as needed

• Assist with special projects and ad hoc accounting initiatives as the business continues to grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 3–5+ years of accounting, audit, or related finance experience

• Inventory accounting experience within Manufacturing, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Technology Hardware, or a similar product-based environment

• Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes

• Public accounting, large company, public company, or regulated-industry experience is a plus

• Exposure to internal controls, audit support, or process improvement is helpful

• CPA or active CPA candidate preferred

• Strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate clearly across teams
