Description
Background check and US Citizenship are requirements for this position. This is an on-site position, not remote.
- Perform full-cycle accounting operations, including General Ledger maintenance, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, cash management, bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliation.
- Assist with preparing financial statements, project cost analysis and variance reports.
- Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of accounting policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Support DCAA/DCMA audits as well as external financial audits.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on US government contracts.
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA compliance requirements.
- Solid understanding of indirect rate structures, cost pools, and allowable/unallowable costs.
- Hands-on experience with Unanet or similar government contracting accounting systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with AP/AR processes and testing (reconciliations, aging analysis, and controls testing).
