The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting clients, managing engagements, and developing your professional skillset.

You'll work closely with firm leadership while serving clients across a variety of industries and helping deliver proactive tax planning and advisory solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Preparation & Planning

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, trust, and related tax returns
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies and compliance requirements
• Research tax issues and identify planning opportunities
• Deliver accurate, timely, and client-ready work products

Client Service & Advisory

• Work directly with business owners and individual clients
• Build strong, long-term client relationships
• Gather and analyze financial information to provide practical recommendations
• Identify opportunities to add value through proactive tax and advisory services

Team Leadership & Development

• Review and oversee work completed by staff accountants
• Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and engagement deadlines
• Mentor and support developing professionals
• Contribute to a culture focused on learning, collaboration, and professional growth

Engagement Management

• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
• Maintain high standards of quality and client service
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, managers, and partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam required
• 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred
• 2+ years of tax experience with individual and business returns preferred
• Strong understanding of tax compliance principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Desire to continue growing within public accounting
