Overview
Snapscale is seeking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to work on a hybrid set-up to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic business decisions. This role goes beyond routine accounting tasks and involves financial analysis, compliance, and team support.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as GAAP or IFRS
General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Review journal entries for accuracy and completeness
Month-End & Year-End Close:
- Lead and manage closing processes
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reports
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Perform variance analysis between actual results and projections
Compliance & Audits:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and support junior accounting staff
- Provide guidance and training as needed
Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in accounting processes and systems

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification is preferred but not required
- 5–7+ years of accounting experience
