The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Aerostructure buyer for Aftersales A220 Strategic Procurement team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada).
You will be part of the Material and Parts Procurement team responsible for / developing Sourcing strategy, contracting and supplier performance. The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Aerostructure buyer for Aftersales will be to conduct commercial and contractual negotiations to secure spares, retrofit and upgrade campaigns for the A220 fleet in service. You will be responsible for the performance and transformation of our after-sales supply chain, managing a diverse team and negotiating directly with key suppliers. Your role will be to define the category strategy, reduce costs, and ensure that our customers, both internal and external, receive the support they need.

In your duties, you will be called upon to:
- Manage a portfolio of Aerostructure suppliers required for spares parts, material services (retrofits, upgrades, PCRs) for A220 program.
- Support the definition and implement the Material & Aerostructure aftermarket Commodity Strategy, including the securitization of out of production parts.
- Co-Lead the aerostructures A220 Aftermarket sourcing group, and bring improvements in governance with the quality functions of the supply chain, program, operations etc. In close alignment with the relevant serial Commodity / Multi Functional Team Leader.
- Manage the tendering and contracting process for spares when applicable.
- Manage the suppliers contracts and claims throughout the Material & Aerostructure spares life cycle including the negotiation of change requests.
- Manage the relationship with the suppliers.
- Contribute to the Customer Services’ competitiveness stream through Cost reduction and cash containment initiatives.
- Contribute to the implementation of digitalized solutions.
- Comply with Airbus Procedural Documents.

- Efficient project management.
- Financial key indicators knowledge.
- Ability to drive improvement & innovation to concrete results.
- Proven in communication, especially with supplier representatives.
- Effective management of customer expectations and stakeholders.
- Negotiation level in English.
It is a plus if you have an in-depth know-how of the Material and Aerostructure market and supplier strategies.
