Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with an emphasis in Accounting

Personal Characteristics:        

Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.  Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with strong attendance record.  Must be able to read and understand financial statements. Must have good attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, and strong analytical/problem solving skills. Individual must be a results oriented self-starter who drives for continuous improvement. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere.

Work Experience:    

Three to seven years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance. 

Principal Area of Responsibility:          

This position is for a senior accounting professional that will use critical thinking and communication skills to apply accounting theory and knowledge.  This position will apply skills to specific areas such as cost accounting, manufacturing analysis, account reconciliations, and accounting policy compliance for PCC Airfoils. This individual must ensure accuracy of financial statements by providing accurate accounting of transactions in area of responsibility in compliance with Sarbanes – Oxley (SOX) and PCC corporate policies.  This position will require providing guidance and counsel for the work of others within the Accounting department. 

Specific Duties:

Physical and Mental Demands: 

Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position.  Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.  Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.   Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
