NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant Consultant to support clients with accurate financial reporting, accounting operations, and process improvements.

This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys variety, solving problems, and working with different businesses and leadership teams. You will manage essential accounting functions while helping clients improve financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and gain greater visibility into their financial performance.

What You�ll Do

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Produce accurate financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP
• Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights to clients
• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Partner with client leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues
• Prepare and present financial reports to management and clients
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
• Stay current on accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices

What We�re Looking For

• Bachelor�s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience as a Senior Accountant or in a comparable accounting role
• Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Experience with accounting systems and Microsoft Office
• Experience supporting construction companies or working in construction accounting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working independently and collaborating with client teams
