- Own significant portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution of open items.
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and support the global consolidation process, including foreign currency translation and elimination entries.
- Maintain the general ledger in accordance with US GAAP (and coordinate with local statutory requirements where applicable).
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules, and assist with the reporting package delivered to the board and PE sponsor.
- Support lender and covenant compliance reporting, including data gathering and schedule preparation to meet credit-agreement deadlines.
- Perform flux analysis and provide clear, concise explanations.
- Assist with cash reporting and support treasury on cash forecasting inputs.
- Ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Serve as a key contact for external auditors during interim testing and the annual audit; prepare requested schedules and support.
- Support tax, transfer pricing, and statutory reporting requirements in coordination with internal and external partners.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate accounting processes.
- Act as a power user of the company's ERP and reporting/consolidation tools; support ongoing system enhancements and data integrity efforts.
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, treasury, tax, shared services, and regional finance teams.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or a corporate accounting role at a global organization.
- CPA preferred
