About the Position: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accounting operations in a manufacturing environment.
This role will focus on financial reporting, manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and operational accounting support, while partnering closely with leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable financial information. The successful candidate will also play a key role in the company's transition to an independent accounting system and will serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day accounting operations during a period of organizational growth and system transition.
Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial results, identify trends or variances, and provide operational insights to management
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Cost Accounting & Inventory
- Manage cost accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Perform manufacturing variance analysis and monitor material, labor, and production costs
- Support inventory reconciliation and cycle counts
- Assist in maintaining standard costing processes
General Accounting
- Maintain general ledger and perform account reconciliations
- Support audit preparation and documentation
- Assist in maintaining internal controls and financial processes
- Act as primary point of contact for accounting operations in the absence of a Controller
- Support cash flow visibility, expense tracking, and operational financial reporting as needed
System & Process Transition
- Support the company’s transition to an independent accounting and operational reporting structure (QuickBooks and beyond)
- Coordinate with external CPA firms regarding tax filings, year-end reporting, and supporting documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 5+ years of progressiva accounting experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Experience with QuickBooks required; Experience with ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms) is a strong plus
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin — required
- CPA is a plus
SKILLS
- Experience with cost accounting and inventory management
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable operating in a lean environment during a period of system transition
