Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team, offering significant room for professional advancement.
As the Senior Accountant, your primary focus will be to support clients by evaluating their financial health and business results while ensuring the utmost accuracy of their financial data.
- Engagements & Compliance: Efficiently prepare and manage complex compilation and review engagements.
- Taxation & Planning: Assist with comprehensive tax planning and the preparation of complex corporate and personal tax returns.
- Audit & Liaison: Represent clients and liaise directly with the CRA and other government bodies regarding compliance queries and audits.
- Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain exceptional working relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Strategic Advisory: As you grow in the role, you will take on advanced consultative duties—truly understanding client needs, adding tangible value to their businesses, and serving as a trusted advisor to guide their future business transitions.

Qualifications & Core Competencies
- Professional Designation: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience within a Canadian public accounting practice.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with industry software, including CaseWare, Sage, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel.
- Versatility: Proven ability to thrive in a multi-faceted role managing shifting priorities and diverse tasks.
