Senior Accountant

Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a blend of public accounting and industry experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in GAAP, a proven track record of driving efficient month-end close cycles, and hands-on experience with treasury operations and cash management. This role is an opportunity to take ownership of core accounting processes while partnering closely with finance leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis on time and with accuracy.
• Manage daily cash positioning and treasury operations, including bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and intercompany funding activity.
• Monitor and maintain cash management systems; coordinate with banking partners on transactions, reporting, and any escalated items.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP; support external audits by providing schedules, documentation, and audit support.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in close cycles and treasury workflows.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and internal and external stakeholders to support reporting and strategic decisions
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Demonstrated experience owning month-end close
• High proficiency in Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA preferred
• 2+ years in public accounting 
• 2+ years in an industry accounting role
• Direct experience in treasury, cash management, or corporate banking relationships
• Experience with cash flow forecasting models
