Senior Accountant I

The Impact You Will Make We’re seeking a Senior Accountant with expertise in US GAAP, especially ASC 606 revenue recognition, to join our growing accounting team. Responsibilities:

Analyze contracts to determine appropriate revenue treatment under ASC 606 Manage project accounting revenue recognition models to insure correct revenue recognition Manage the Company’s deferred revenue and accrued revenue schedules based on current project activity Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations in a complete, accurate, and timely manner Perform additional monthly accounting tasks beyond revenue, as needed

Assist with annual audit and provide supporting documentation

Coordinate with multiple business partners including sales, project managers, and plant finance

Assist with revenue forecasting including analysis and explanation of variances to actual Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and internal controls. Participate in cross-functional projects, system enhancements, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA or CPA eligibility preferred

4+ years of experience in accounting, including experience with revenue models Strong knowledge of US GAAP and specifically ASC 606 Experience working with internal and external auditors

Proficiency in accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics specifically is a plus) Advanced skills in Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis Attention to detail and highly organized Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
