About the Role
The Senior Accountant, Revenue Accounting serves as the first-level preparer and reviewer across key areas of the global revenue accounting function, supporting centralized month-end close activities, revenue automation and reporting, and intercompany revenue balances. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing revenue-related schedules, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting outputs to help ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across the global organization.
In parallel, this position supports ERP transformation initiatives by acting as a key accounting contributor in the design, testing, validation, and deployment of enhancements related to revenue customizations, billing modules, project master data, Unit4 (U4) Excelerators, and reporting capabilities. The Senior Accountant partners closely with Revenue Accounting, Corporate Accounting, IT, and billing teams to help modernize processes, improve scalability, and strengthen the quality and reliability of revenue data and reporting.
This role also supports cross-functional training and centralized global revenue support by helping document processes, respond to revenue and ERP-related inquiries, and reinforce adoption of system updates, automation tools, and process improvements. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting knowledge with systems aptitude, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset, enabling effective support across both day-to-day revenue operations and broader transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Centralized Global Month-End Close
- Serve as the first-level preparer and reviewer for key revenue accounting deliverables supporting the centralized global month-end close.
- Prepare and review journal entries, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely close execution.
- Investigate variances, resolve reconciling items, and partner with business, billing, and finance teams to address close-related questions and issues.
Revenue Automation, Reporting & Intercompany Support
- Prepare, review, and validate recurring and ad hoc revenue reports, automation outputs, and data sets used for management reporting and operational decision-making.
- Support the monitoring and reconciliation of intercompany revenue balances, including researching discrepancies and coordinating with stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
- Help maintain consistency and reliability in revenue reporting by identifying anomalies, validating data integrity, and escalating issues as needed.
Controls, Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Support compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal control requirements by preparing accurate documentation, schedules, and accounting support across revenue processes.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests by compiling support, explaining process details, and helping address questions related to revenue accounting, billing, and reporting.
- Contribute to process narratives, control documentation, and accounting analyses that strengthen standardization and operational consistency.
ERP Transformation, Training & Global Revenue Support
- Support ERP transformation initiatives by participating in the design review, testing, validation, and deployment of enhancements related to revenue customizations, billing modules, project master data, Unit4 (U4) Excelerators, and reporting capabilities.
- Help document processes, support cross-functional training efforts, and reinforce adoption of system updates, automation tools, and process improvements across global accounting and billing teams.
- Provide first-level support for global revenue inquiries related to ERP functionality, revenue recognition, billing issues, reporting, automation, and audit support, escalating matters when appropriate.
What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of relevant accounting experience, including public accounting and/or experience in a corporate finance environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point and experience working with ERP or financial systems.
Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and application of U.S. GAAP.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues, interpret data, and recommend practical solutions.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across finance and business teams.
Demonstrated ownership, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA, CPA candidate, or progress toward a comparable professional certification preferred.
Experience with revenue systems, data tools, or reporting platforms such as Power Query, SQL, or similar tools.
Revenue recognition experience.

Compensation
Minimum Pay: $82,000
Maximum Pay: $139,500
Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual’s location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
