Senior Accountant / FP&A

Location: Newington, CT  (Hybrid: 4x onsite / 1x remote)

Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 + bonus

We're looking for a Senior Accountant with FP&A chops to own the finances for an advanced manufacturing business unit. You'll be the primary finance contact — partnering with operations and leadership to close the books, drive forecasts, and support capital decisions. This isn't a back-office role. You'll have visibility and influence from day one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and integrity reviews
• Lead month-end close, fixed asset reporting, weekly cash forecasts, and quarterly planning cycles
• Drive annual budgeting and 5-year strategic planning for the business unit
• Support internal and external audits; ensure compliance with corporate policies
• Build financial analysis and ad hoc reporting for senior leadership
• Partner with operational and commercial leaders on capital investment decisions and business cases
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of FP&A or General Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• SAP or comparable ERP experience
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas)
• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Green Card Holder) or able to obtain required government licensing
