As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to support our Finance team and play a key role in maintaining accurate, compliant financial operations.
Reporting to the VP Controller, this role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong ASC 842 lease accounting and fixed asset experience, who enjoys owning core accounting processes, supporting the monthly close, and partnering across the organization in a mission-driven, collaborative environment.
This is a hybrid position based at our headquarters in North Phoenix, with a schedule of three days onsite and two days working from home each week.

Responsibilities
The role: Reporting to the VP Controller, the Senior Accountant will support general ledger management and play a key role in the monthly close process.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple entities
- Own fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules and capital tracking
- Manage lease accounting (ASC 842), including CAM reconciliations and tenant improvement activity
- Track and reconcile construction-in-progress and capital expenditures
- Oversee prepaid expenses, including schedules, amortization, and reconciliation
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve variances
- Review AP invoice coding and support weekly payment processing (ACH/checks)
- Partner cross-functionally to investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting
- Support annual audits, including preparation of schedules and auditor interaction
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Hands-on experience with ASC 842 lease accounting, including lease setup, monthly lease entries, remeasurements, reconciliations, CAM reconciliations, and tenant improvement accounting.
- Strong fixed asset accounting experience, including capitalization policies, depreciation calculations, asset tracking, disposals, and construction-in-progress (CIP) accounting.
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Public Accounting experience preferred
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP (preferred)
- Coupa or similar procurement system experience (a plus)
