Senior Accountant

The RoleWe’re seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to support our U.S. operations. This role will play a critical part in managing core accounting functions, supporting month-end close, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency across financial processes.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in handling full-cycle accounting, including overseeing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, while managing key financial platforms and systems.Key Responsibilities:Support and execute month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliationsOversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions to ensure accuracy and timelinessMaintain and manage financial systems such as Intacct, credit card platforms, and reimbursement toolsPrepare and review general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesEnsure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with U.S. GAAPAssist in preparing financial reports, workpapers, and audit documentationIdentify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of best practicesEnsure adherence to internal controls and proper segregation of dutiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and U.S. stakeholders to support financial operationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field3+ years of accounting or audit experience (Big 4 or public accounting experience is a plus)CPA, CIA, and/or CISA (U.S. preferred; PH credentials also considered)Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAPExperience with accounting systems such as Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar platformsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work aligned with U.S. hours (EST/PST)Key Attributes for SuccessExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to prioritize, organize, manage time, and work independently to meet deadlinesAbility to focus on small details and high-level strategic projects,Strong analytical, organizational, attention to detail, problem-solving, and leadership skills,Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across multiple functional areasHigh degree of professionalism and tact in dealing with internal and external partnersPerks and BenefitsProfessional Development: Structured training, mentorship, and ongoing exposure to U.S. audit tools and practices.Career Growth: Clear progression path from Associate to Senior roles, with performance-based evaluations.Global Exposure: Collaborate with U.S. engagement teams and gain international experience in public accounting.Work Flexibility: Remote setup with collaboration tools to stay connected and supported.
