Senior Accountant

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for assisting in the financial close process, including international consolidation.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities including creating and entering both Oracle and Hyperion entries
• Assist with the global consolidation to ensure timely and accurate financial results
• Prepare account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
• Conduct high level review and analysis of general ledger accounts
• Assist with accounting for foreign currency translation
• Extract and prepare ad hoc reports for management
• Assist in requests from both internal and external auditors
• Maintain and update the documentation of the procedure for the position
• Assist with process improvement initiatives
• All other duties as assigned

• Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis.
• Highly organized; superior time management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
• Self-motivated; self-starter; extroverted personality.
• Work well with all levels of the corporation.
• Detail oriented with good technical skills

Education/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA required
• Minimum 3 years public accounting experience required, Big 4 preferred
• International accounting experience required
• Must have strong organizational skills along with problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience in both Oracle and Hyperion preferred
• Able to meet deadlines with attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, bend, and kneel
• Frequently lifts up to 10 lbs.
• Long periods spent sitting at desk in front of computer screen.
• Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out in an office environment.
