Senior Accountant (CPA firm)

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will work closely with Managers and Partners on tax engagements while assisting with client relationships and mentoring junior staff. This role provides exposure to a broad range of tax work and offers long-term growth opportunities within a stable and well-established public accounting firms

• Prepare and review:
  • Individual tax returns (1040)
  • Partnership returns (1065)
  • Corporate and S-Corporation returns (1120/1120S)
  • Trust and fiduciary returns
• Work directly with business owners and individual clients
• Assist with tax planning and research projects
• Respond to client tax notices and inquiries
• Support and mentor junior accounting staff
• Collaborate with firm leadership on client engagements and deadlines
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of projects during tax season and throughout the year

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred or actively pursuing
• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience preparing business and individual tax returns
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
