Senior Accountant

Overview

Location: On-site, Canonsburg
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience supporting month-end close, audits, compliance, and SEC filings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial results
• Support internal, external, and compliance audits
• Support month-end close and prepare journal entries
• Assist with special projects and improvements

Qualifications

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Businesses Administration, Accounting, Finance or Information Systems.
• CPA  preferred

Experience Required:

• 4+ years' experience in public accounting or corporate accounting
• Experience with SEC reporting preferred
• Ability to evaluate processes and procedures, solve problems, identify improvements and challenge the status quo
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently 
• Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills 
• Proficiency with Excel, and large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
• Power Bi experience preferred

This position is 100% on-site with no travel.
