Revenue and Project Accountant
The Revenue and Project Accountant will serve as a key contributor to the Accounting and Finance team in the areas of revenue invoicing, project reconciliation and profit analysis, and the monthly closing process.
What you will do:

Performs final reconciliation and profitability analyses of projects and communicates results with Client Services teams as follows:

Prepares final reconciliations between estimated and actual project totals within established timelines

Communicates project reconciliation and project profitability results to Client Services teams

Works collaboratively with Client Services teams for assigned clients to closeout projects and prepare/issue final project reconciliation invoice.

Prepare/process & distribute sales invoices, credit memos etc. in Microsoft Dynamics GP for assigned accounts.

Assist in managing Accounts Receivable aging for assigned accounts when necessary, ensuring past due items are resolved promptly.

Assist, when necessary, with resolving discrepancies and reconciling items for cash receipts in an efficient manner

Maintain & update all customer records in Microsoft Dynamics GP and Access Track

Participate in financial audits, as they pertain to revenue and accounts receivable

Perform routine and ad hoc analysis as needed

Respond quickly and accurately to all inquiries while providing the highest level of customer service (internal and external customers)

Provide support for special projects and other cross-functional initiatives assigned by management
Qualifications
What we would love to see:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

2+ years of relevant experience in a mid/large corporate environment preferred
-
Strong Microsoft Office skills are required

Experience with Dynamics GP, BI Tools, or equivalent ERP systems preferred
-
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
-
Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy while maximizing efficiency
-
Willing to learn and develop as needs of company changes i.e., Audit and knowledge of GAAP
