Revenue Accountant, Cost of Sales

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
• Experience with revenue accounting and working under US GAAP.
• Experience with finance and accounting data analysis and implementation of controls or risk mitigation.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in creating accounting memos, process documentation and presentations.
• Experience in SQL and automation.
• Excellent communication and business skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and understand and present data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvement.
• Strong data aggregation skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable global accounting processes and balance sheet reconciliations for Ad products Cost of Sales (CoS).
• Execute monthly close procedures efficiently—including complex journal entries and payment processing—while collaborating cross-functionally to integrate accounting systems and policies.
• Partner with internal and external audit teams on quarterly reviews and annual audits to ensure US GAAP compliance, while implementing robust internal controls to manage risk.
• Evaluate accounting workflows to identify and drive opportunities for centralization, elimination, and automation.
• Analyze and resolve accounting implications for new product launches, business model changes, and strategic operational shifts.
