Remote Accountant

We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time, fully remote position, offering the opportunity to manage our company's financial health from your own dedicated workspace. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing crucial insights to support our continued growth and success.ResponsibilitiesAs a Remote Accountant, your key duties will include:• Managing all aspects of the general ledger, including accounts payable and receivable.• Preparing and analysing timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.• Conducting bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.• Assisting with the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow reports.• Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant US tax regulations.• Performing detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.• Overseeing project-based accounting and job costing to track profitability.• Ensuring all accounting practices are in compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.• Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial standards, and US tax regulations.• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.• The ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively in a remote setting.• Experience within the construction industry is highly advantageous.What We Offer• A competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $95,000 USD, commensurate with experience.• The flexibility and convenience of a fully remote position.• The opportunity to play a vital role in a stable and reputable company with over 50 years of history.• A collaborative and supportive professional environment.
