Basic Employee Responsibilities

Every Q2 Artificial Lift Services employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner. The Receptionist should bring a warm, positive presence and an easy‑going yet disciplined work style. They must handle customer feedback effectively, provide accurate information, and demonstrate a compassionate approach with both internal and external clients. Ensuring guests feel welcomed, valued, and supported while assisting the Q2 Team in their routines is essential. Specific responsibilities include the following:

Leading by example by following established Quality and Health and Safety policies & procedures. Showing respect and pride for facilities and equipment. Being responsible and ethical.

Position Specific Responsibilities

Ensure a positive front‑desk experience by greeting guests, answering calls, assisting visitors, and relaying messages Collect customer feedback and ensure it reaches the appropriate personnel Receiving incoming mail and deliveries and distributing them to the appropriate parties Maintaining inventory and placing orders for office & coffee supplies Sustaining a neat, clutter‑free, and organized space Verifying banking details through verbal confirmation and managing the master list Preparing envelopes and arranging mail or courier delivery for payments and documents Entering daily banking activity into the ERP platform Additional responsibilities as assigned by your manager

Required Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma Minimum 2 years reception experience an asset Time management skills to be able to prioritize activities Attention to detail Positive attitude for greeting customers and clients in a friendly and warm manner upon arrival to office or through the phone Communication skills to be able to communicate with internal team members or clients and understand their needs Strong organizational skills to keep multiple calendars organized Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications Flexibility to be able to move between activities and duties quickly if priorities change
