Queen's Biomechatronics Team (QBMET) Exec - Finance Manager

Interested in helping support one of Queen’s most innovative engineering design teams? Queen’s BioMechatronics Team (QBMET) develops wearable exoskeleton technology with applications ranging from mobility assistance to industrial and emergency response support. As Finance Manager, you'll help ensure the team has the financial resources and organization needed to achieve its goals.

As Finance Manager, you will oversee QBMET’s financial operations and budgeting. This includes tracking team spending, maintaining accurate financial records, managing available funds, and collaborating with the leadership team to make informed decisions about the team’s financial position. You will work closely with the Bank of Eng Soc to manage accounts, process reimbursements, and submit required financial documentation. The Finance Manager is also responsible for helping develop budgets, ensuring expenditures align with team priorities, and supporting sponsorship and funding initiatives by providing financial information when needed.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in budgeting, financial management, and helping support the operations of a student engineering team.
