Purchasing Analyst – Elkhart, IN

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Purchasing Analyst to join their team in a full-time, in-office position. This role offers a starting pay rate of $20.00 per hour and a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Job Duties:

• Reviewing purchasing data and identifying trends
• Preparing internal reports and one-time management reports
• Creating vendor-related reports and supporting vendor analysis
• Researching and documenting procurement options for materials and services
• Developing purchasing and inventory-related reporting
• Recommending improvements to purchasing and acquisition processes
• Tracking on-time shipments and delivery performance
• Assisting with the development and standardization of product codes
• Gathering information from company systems and collaborating with IS/IT teams
• Analyzing inventory purchasing programs and buying practices
• Working with transportation and logistics teams as needed
• Assisting with additional purchasing and administrative projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of finance and accounting principles
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
