Responsibilities
- Handle payables and receivables for the multiple properties
- Assist with tenant and vendor reconciliations as needed
- Oversee daily banking transactions and reconciliation with cash receipts
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor payment inquiries and tenant billing questions.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and manage incoming/outgoing mail.
- Provide administrative support to property managers, including drafting correspondence and updating lease files.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems for compliance and audit readiness.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or high-volume billing, preferably in property management.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Yardi, AppFolio, Timberline, or QuickBooks.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas, reconciliation).
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and tenant interaction.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
